Savings Bank Online Account Application Process In Brief

You may fill up an application online for opening a Savings Bank account. The process in brief would be as follows:

  • Fill up and submit the required details online.
  • Print the Account Opening Form (AOF) on A4 size white papers.
  • Attach the required documents, such as photographs and proof of identity and address, as mentioned in the AOF.
  • A TCRN (Temporary Customer Reference Number) will be generated, which please note down. TCRN will also be sent on the registered mobile number of the applicant(s).

CUSTOMER INFORMATION SECTION

Step 1: Click on Apply Now to go to the application for filing up

Step 2: New window will open after clicking on Apply Now. If you are a new user choose the option Start New or if you already filled partially; choose Continue With Partially Filled option as given below. If you choose second option; enter your TCRN which is received on your registered mobile number. 


Step 3: If you clicked on start new; online application opens. Fill the details as per given in application form. There are three tabs in Customer Information Section namely

Personal Details: Account type, Name, Date of Birth, Nationality, Gender, Mother's Name, Contact Numbers and Communication Address etc

Additional Details: Monthly Income, Marital Status, Cast Category, Qualification etc

Identification Details: Identity Proof like Passport, Voter ID,Driving Licence, Aadhar Card, PAN Card etc.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION SECTION

Service required: ATM Card, Cheque Book, Internet banking facility, Mobile banking facility, Auto sweep facility etc

Nominee details: Need to be filled nominee name, relationship with you  and address.

Fill all the details like above and submit. Now print the fully filled application form and attach the documents and submit at your branch. They will check your application form, documents and issue a new saving bank account to you.

Note: This online application validity for one month only from the date of your application. Within one month you have to visit your branch and submit along with supportive documents.
